“In our work we explore gay male identity and culture through the medium of porcelain and the act of ornamentation. The fragility, elegance and prestige of porcelain and its traditional role in domestic life make it an exciting avenue to explore both alternative and popular themes of culture, identity and sexuality. Our work is predominantly slip-cast porcelain that we combine with hand-built elements.”
